HANDLING OF DATA

We process the formats VDA, STEP, IGES and CATIA of volume- and surface models.

CAD Data will be thoroughly examined right at the beginning of the process. This enables us to define the correct manufacturing strategy and to assess the effort needed for the manufacture. Together with our CAD/CAM partners, we are constantly working on system-improvements and are regularly involved in research- and development-projects.

Programming

We utilize sophisticated and innovative 5 axis Technology for the CAM division. One leading solution for 5 axis simultaneous milling is Tebis V4.1. This system offers a completely parametric-associative programming, homogeneous toolpaths for low tool wear and accurate machining time prediction.

The programming and simulation are even more precise using our fully digitised tool and machine geometry library. This key technology allows us crash prevention, but also early-stage feasibility checks where tool access is limited.
